Our client, a prominent leader in the manufacturing sector, specializes in the production of electric actuators, motors, and motion subsystems. Their products cater to a diverse array of industries such as Automotive, Smart Metering, Medical Devices, Business Equipment, Home Automation, Ventilation, and Power Tools. In recent years, they have embarked on a phase of expansion and growth. As part of this strategic initiative, they are currently seeking to augment their team with the addition of a Manufacturing Manager. This role represents an exciting opportunity to be part of a company at the forefront of technological innovation.
Your new role
A few of your responsibilities would be ;
· Proactively steer the current processes towards Digital Transformation, closed-loop manufacturing, and continuous process improvement using AI tools.
· Spearhead the development of Precision Machining or Powder Metallurgy manufacturing processes, along with product design and transition to large-scale production.
· Supervise the comprehensive operations of the division, encompassing production, engineering, quality control, production planning and control, tooling, projects, and machine maintenance to meet divisional objectives.
· Ensure strict adherence to operating procedures, maintenance programs, and international quality and safety standards across all operations.
· Serve as a catalyst for change, driving transformations and continuous enhancements to elevate the organization to global standards.
· Facilitate communication with senior management and stakeholders across various functions such as design engineering, quality, and process engineering.
What you'll need to succeed
· Holds an ITE, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Manufacturing related discipline.
· Brings a minimum of 10 years of professional experience from large-scale manufacturing companies.
· Demonstrates experience in managing high-volume manufacturing operations.
· Possesses expertise in Powder Metallurgy, CNC machines, and precision components manufacturing environment.
· Has experience with Industrial 4.0 Factory digital transformation and Process Automation.
· Familiarity with the technical aspects of tool design is essential.
· Has a good understanding of lean manufacturing principles and is well-versed with process improvement tools such as Gemba Kaizen and 6 Sigma SPC.
· The work location will be in China (Jiangmen/ Shenzhen).
