Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 4 lorry for the transportation of goods to various destinations within Singapore.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure and efficient handling.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
- Handle any delivery issues or discrepancies professionally.
- Ensure timely deliveries and meet scheduled deadlines.
- Keep the lorry clean and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 4 Driving License in Singapore.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a lorry driver.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Ability to handle physical workload and perform manual tasks.
- Excellent driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
