The Production Executive is responsible assist with day-to-day production planning, direction, and coordination of the bakery production process. To ensure a continuous flow of quality products that meet or exceed all customer requirements and play a key role in meeting company-wide profitability and customer satisfaction expectations.
The result is a continuous flow of quality products that meet or exceed all customer, ARYZTA and regulatory agencies' requirements.
Responsibilities also include managing staffing and training personnel improvements to increase productivity and profitability within the manufacturing operation of ARYZTA.
Job Responsibility
- Initiate plans and processes that minimize manufacturing costs through adequate staffing, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
- Coordination and planning of the Manufacturing team's activities and resources (people and ingredients)
- Analyzes production requirements and plant capacity data and performs calculations in line with provided manufacturing processes to meet efficiency guidelines established by management.
- Understand and communicate capacity issues and requirements, balancing production/ load levelling requirements when necessary.
- Ownership of production planning changes is communicated and acted upon through the complete planning process involving the Production Co-ordinator, Operation and Management.
- Responsible for the sanitation, maintenance and new product manufacturing through effective coordination of the services provided by Sanitation, Engineering and Product Development.
- Organize activities on-site accordingly to complete assigned production schedules.
- Manage to spend against budget, controlling spending about changes in production volume.
- Provides management reports and information as company management requires on a timely and accurate basis.
- Provides accurate and timely physical inventories and other period-end data as required.
Requirement
- Able to commit Bi-Weekly shift work (8:00am - 8:00pm, 8:00pm - 8:00am)
- A diploma in Bakery related will be an advantage
- Microsoft Suite ( Words, Outlook, Excel)
- 3-5+ years' operation experience in a manufacturing environment
- At least 2-3 years of supervisory role working experience within the food industry
- Great understanding of Bakery operations and food manufacturing requirements
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales, multiple projects and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality
- Strong leadership skills, team building, coaching, independent thinking and planning abilities
- Able to communicate in Chinese and English
