We are currently seeking a UI/UX Manager to join our team. Working under the leadership of the Head of Product Management and collaborating with a group comprised of Product Managers, Business Development Specialists, and Solutions Consultants, the UI/UX Manager will be accountable for devising and enhancing the user experience interface, thereby making the platform an effortless and pleasant experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the UI/UX team, ensuring high-quality output.
- Develop and implement UI/UX strategies and best practices.
- Ensure consistency in design and user experience across all platforms.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to deliver the product features.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Analyze user feedback and data to inform design decisions.
- Advocate for user-centric design within the organization.
- Mentor and support the professional growth of team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and tools as needed.
- Present UI/UX concepts and findings to stakeholders and senior management where appropriate.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of work experience in UI/UX design.
- Postgraduate/Tertiary qualification in Design, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Portfolio highlighting multiple projects that demonstrates experience crafting digital interfaces, and designing consumer-focused, desktop and app/mobile products.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers, and Product Managers throughout the design process.
- Extensive experience in UX design and research.
- Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
- Knowledge of front-end development and design systems.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting user data.
- Detailed, organized and display professionalism under pressure.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Team player and able to work in cross functional and matrix teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
