MAIN DUTIES:
- Prepare month-end & year-end closing journals;
- Compile financial reports for management in accordance to policies & procedures;
- Ensure bank sheet reconciliations are completed on a timely and accurate manner;
- Prepare daily cash balance report and daily bank statements for abnormalities;
- Prepare quarterly GST submission;
- Supervise respective Finance sections and ensure timely submission of all related reports and compliance to policy & procedures;
- Assist in all audits of the hotel
- Coordinate and manage the annual budget, forecasting process from preparation to execution;
- Attend to Corporate/owner queries and requests;
- Compile and assist in survey forms required by agencies
- Other duties as assigned.
Key Job Requirements
- Minimum - Diploma in Accounting / Finance
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar capacity in hospitality industry (an advantage)
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and relevant accounting systems
