Accountant

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Prepare month-end & year-end closing journals;
  • Compile financial reports for management in accordance to policies & procedures;
  • Ensure bank sheet reconciliations are completed on a timely and accurate manner;
  • Prepare daily cash balance report and daily bank statements for abnormalities;
  • Prepare quarterly GST submission;
  • Supervise respective Finance sections and ensure timely submission of all related reports and compliance to policy & procedures;
  • Assist in all audits of the hotel
  • Coordinate and manage the annual budget, forecasting process from preparation to execution;
  • Attend to Corporate/owner queries and requests;
  • Compile and assist in survey forms required by agencies
  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Job Requirements

  • Minimum - Diploma in Accounting / Finance
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar capacity in hospitality industry (an advantage)
  • Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and relevant accounting systems
