We are looking for a highly driven and motivated Product Manager who can make an impact in our organization through Payments.

The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all products and solutions offered by Liquid Group. This role will focus on maintaining and improving products capabilities, functionalities and enhancements to cater for the evolving needs of clients and end-users.


Key Responsibilities


Product Ownership, Solutioning and Documentation

  • Assess new products and potential partners solutions to measure their potential value
  • Look into competitors and conduct capability analyses regularly
  • Involved in the implementation of strategic plans for new program requirements, new market initiatives, design solutions and develop operational requirements for Liquid wallet apps and LiquidNow B2B/B2C trade payment platform. Scope includes understanding of B2B/B2C/C2B/P2P segments, Digital Payments Acceptance innovation for Real-Time Payments (RTP), FX management, Alternative Payments Methods (APMs) and Card Schemes card acceptance processes
  • Maintain relationships and lead negotiations with Payment Service Providers, Acquirers, schemes, banks and APM partners
  • Define and maintain team’s roadmap, payment acceptance strategies and features to heighten the adoption rate of our clients and ensure the successful launch of these products
  • Be the team’s representative in communication with cross-functional teams on product features implementation and enhancements, ensure the successful deployment and development of the solution offering
  • Technical knowledge of payments solutions and infrastructure will be an advantage.
  • Develop information sales-toolkit for Sales Team, to be used as a reference guide and product-knowledge to extend the above solutions to their clients, on top of their current product/solutions offering in their presentation deck
  • Engage in business development initiatives and identify opportunities that best utilize Liquid’s infrastructure to meet clients’ requirements
  • Write product specifications, Best Practices guidelines and Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) across multi-functional teams, partners, and clients to support product development, rollout, and post-sales
  • Implement changes to any of the existing processes and morph the new solutions into the current service scope to improve efficiency for the team as well as for the client
  • Provide implementation support for new initiatives, projects assigned and new client setups (including settlement flows, report formats, merchant acquiring processes etc.)
  • Look into enhancing service levels of business support through Process Re-engineering evaluation/ exercise/ analysis in order to drive efficiency, cost and time savings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or a related discipline
  • 3 to 5 years relevant experience in Payments Industry with Merchant Acquiring and/or Business/Corporate Banking sales experience or in financial services industry preferable
  • Excellent relationship management skills with experience of working directly with clients and external partners
  • Good grasp and knowledge of Card Schemes Operating requirements and Real-Time Payment
  • Relevant technical skills and Industry Payments regulations and functionalities
  • Fluency in English with strong business writing skills, good communication, presentation and analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to sustain effective relations internally and externally at all levels of a large organization
  • Passion for enhancing product features and customer experiences
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects
