JOB DESCRIPTION
The role of a Container Trucking Master is to operate Prime Movers to transport containers from Wharf to Yard (and Vice-versa) in the PSA Container terminal.
JOB DUTIES
Conduct Pre-Op and Post-Op checks.
Comply with PSA traffic/safety rules, Procedures, and systems.
Communicate with control center on all operational matters.
Operating Prime Mover PC. To Log in with Log on ID on time.
Ensure to select Meal break for the day.
Ensure to Log Out after PMPC upon ending of shift.
Check and Ensure Mounting and Un-Mounting of containers are done safely.
Refueling the Prime Mover and ensuring the vehicle is road-worthy.
Prepare the vehicle for handover and taking over at specific home crane location.
Comply with Workplace and Health safety regulations.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure that containers are fully mounted and dismounted before moving off and waiting for PMGO.
To avoid/prevent possibilities of incidents/accidents and comply with safety regulations.
Ensure to deliver the containers on time from point to point.
Ensure vehicle cleanliness and hygiene.
To report any damages/incidents to the superior immediately.
To attend toolbox briefing prior to commencement of work.
Perform all instructions and duties briefed by your direct superior.
To comply with the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Observe and comply with all Workplace Safety standards, Protocols, Duties, and Responsibilities in accordance with the workplace/department you are going to work in.
REQUIREMENTS:
ONLY Singaporean may apply
Minimum Class 3 Driving license is required
Minimum PSLE English passed
