JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Identifying and attending important global events and trade shows to create, implement, and execute merchandising plans that help the business to grow and meet sales targets
- Maintain close relationships with local partners through regular market visits, meetings and business reviews
- Ensure business partners follow brand's standards in terms of retail operations, product assortments, visual merchandising, image and client services
- Find ways to improve and develop sales numbers through analyzing performances for all relevant accounts and monitoring competitor activities and market trends to find new opportunities.
- Evaluate current inventory and make suggestions for continuous improvement based on market research and understanding of the purchasing habits consumers
- Fully manage the complete wholesale business for the region, with a key focus in Singapore market
- Identify potential operational & business improvement opportunities
- Utilize sales data to manage, develop, and serve existing accounts and find ways to identify and convert new account opportunities for the business
- Establish new sourcing networks and strengthen existing supplier relationships desirable to our customers
- Maintain strong business relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by Company
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business or related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B/B2C sales, wholesale brand consumer products with a preference for the industry
- Preferably with experience in wholesale/retail packaging and good knowledge in Wholesale trade products distributions through various channels
- Preferably bilingual to liaise with Indian speaking suppliers and vendors in view of working/business environment communication
- 2A/2B/Class 3 compulsory. Preferably posses own transport. (Required to travel from time to time)
- Willing to do rotating shift work and flexibility to work late evenings
- Able to work longer hours with prolonged period of standing
- Must be willing to work on weekends/PH. (Strictly off on week days)
- The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
