What you'll do:
As a Informatica Developer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and supporting the existing Informatica infrastructure within a Linux environment. You will be responsible for architecting and developing intricate Informatica ETL processes that integrate substantial data sets from diverse sources. Your role will also involve maintaining Informatica PowerCenter solutions 10.5. You will ensure the precision and integrity of data through thorough analysis, coding, clear documentation, and problem resolution. Additionally, you will monitor, troubleshoot, track, and document daily production issues.
- Cooperate with various teams to gather requirements and coordinate among them
- Oversee and support existing Informatica infrastructure in a Linux environment
- Architect and develop intricate Informatica ETL processes integrating substantial data sets from diverse sources
- Develop and maintain Informatica PowerCenter solutions 10.5
- Conduct systems and data analysis to implement and optimise Informatica mappings, ETL workflows, data flows, shell scripts and stored procedures
- Ensure precision and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, clear documentation and problem resolution
- Monitor, troubleshoot, track and document daily production issues as part of ETL support experience
- Take functional/technical documents and provide level 3 support to production
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Informatica Developer role brings advanced skills in Informatica development and intermediate Unix scripting skills. You should be proficient in PL/SQL scripting and relational database design, with experience working with a job scheduler application such as Autosys to design and schedule Informatica workflows. Your ability to take ownership of assigned tasks, coupled with your strong decision-making and analytical abilities, will be key to your success in this role. You should also be able to manage change and complexity confidently, be an excellent team player with a client-focused approach and have good interpersonal communication skills.
