General Manager

Job Overview:

As a Country/General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all operations, sales, marketing, and strategic initiatives within your assigned country or region. You will develop and implement business plans, manage a team of professionals, build relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure the company's growth and success in the market.


Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets.

· Manage all aspects of operations, including sales, marketing, finance, human resources, and logistics.

· Lead and motivate a team of professionals to achieve performance goals and objectives.

· Identify market opportunities, trends, and competitive threats to inform business strategy.

· Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, suppliers, and government agencies.

· Monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

· Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies.

· Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the country or region.

· Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.

· Collaborate with global and regional teams to align strategies and initiatives.


Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field (a master's degree is a plus).

· Proven experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in the same industry or market.

· Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving performance.

· Knowledge of local market dynamics, trends, and customer preferences.

· Ability to analyze data, make data-driven decisions, and solve complex problems.

· Results-oriented with a track record of achieving targets and objectives.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software.

· Proficiency in communication (additional languages are a plus).
