- Monitor 3.5 GHz C-Band RAN systems for issues (24/7).
- Fix network problems (create tickets and track resolution to meet SLAs).
- Develop and maintain processes with parent company for daily tasks, system setup, and maintenance.
- Work with parent company to assess, plan, and deploy changes they request.
- Generate monthly network reports and any reports needed by the parent company.
- Test gNodeB upgrades with vendor and parent company (ensure compatibility with their 5G Core).
- Agree with vendor and parent company on a timeline for software updates.
- Manage user access, upgrades, security, and maintenance for the 5G RAN OSS.
- Communicate network changes to IMDA for the 5G Exploratory Platform (5GEP).
- Support project implementation and network expansion with the parent company.
- Be the main contact for vendors and contractors (operations and projects).
Job Requirements:
- Tertiary education in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Prior knowledge of telecommunication networks is preferred, with cellular network knowledge being a strong advantage.
- Basic understanding of IP networking is desirable.
