Responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for centralized data storage systems.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, including databases, APIs, log files, and streaming platforms.
- Data Transformation and Processing: Clean, normalize, and aggregate data for analysis, reporting, or machine learning tasks.
- Frameworks and Best Practices: Contribute to code development, deployment, and automation best practices.
- Data Governance: Implement data governance in line with company standards.
- Collaboration:Design and productionalize analytic pipelines with Data Analytics and Product leaders. Collaborate with Infrastructure leaders to advance the data and analytics platform.
- Monitoring and Support: Develop monitoring tools, alerts, and error handling mechanisms to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
- Advanced Data Techniques: Develop analytics applications using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
- Data Analysis and Visualization: Apply data mining, modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to analyze large datasets and create dynamic reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong track record of delivering scalable data pipelines.
- Knowledge of data mining, modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning.
- Ability to visualize and report data findings effectively.
- Extensive experience in data solution design and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with data processing jobs (PySpark/SQL) and software engineering principles.
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration technologies like ADF and Airflow.
- Proficiency with real-time and batch data.
- Experience with Azure data pipelines; AWS experience is a plus.
- Fluency in SQL with advanced features like Window functions.
- Understanding of DevOps tools, Git workflow, and CI/CD pipeline development.
