Marketing and Events Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Marketing and Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing marketing campaigns, organizing events, and handling administrative tasks. This role ensures smooth coordination between marketing efforts and event management while maintaining administrative efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Marketing:

- Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns.

- Create and manage content for social media, websites, and other marketing channels.

- Coordinate with graphic designers, copywriters, and other team members to produce marketing materials.

- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

- Maintain and update customer databases.


2. Event Coordination:

- Plan and organize events, including conferences, seminars, and promotional activities.

- Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, catering, transportation, and accommodation.

- Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.

- Liaise with speakers, sponsors, and attendees to ensure a successful event.

- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown.


3. Administrative Tasks:

- Handle office management duties, including maintaining supplies and equipment.

- Manage schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members.

- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence.

- Assist in budgeting and financial record-keeping.

- Provide general administrative support to the marketing and events team.


Qualifications:

- Diploma or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.

- Proven experience in marketing, event coordination, and administrative roles.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software/tools.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong interpersonal and networking skills.

- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media strategies.
