Job Description:
- Lead and manage the overall project from initiation to completion.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities, resources, and personnel.
- Oversee foundation works such as drilling, pressure grouting, diaphragm wall, bored piles, micropiles, jet grouting, and other civil engineering projects.
- Prepare project budgets, control costs, and monitor project financial status.
- Supervise and ensure all reports and records are prepared and maintained as required by contracts, statutory regulations, and internal project requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to monitor project performance and address any issues promptly.
- Verify and review technical submissions, method statements, and project documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams to review and approve technical submissions and method statements.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Manage project documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping of all project-related communications and decisions.
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Lead meetings with project teams and stakeholders to discuss project status, issues, and action plans.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project risks, identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Implement best practices and lessons learned to optimize project performance and efficiency.
- Mentor and develop project team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team.
- Ensure adherence to contract specifications, drawings, and technical requirements.
- Resolve disputes or issues that may arise during the project execution phase.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met, and client expectations are exceeded.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in project management within the construction industry, focusing on diaphragm wall/foundation projects.
- Experience with LTA/MRT projects is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing foundation works and civil engineering projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies, techniques, and standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage project uncertainties.
