Architectural Drafter
Salary Range:
- Minimum: $3,500.00
- Maximum: $4,600.00
Job Description:
An Architectural Drafter is responsible for various tasks related to architectural works. Some of the key responsibilities and job requirements include:
- Working independently to find optimal solutions
- Incorporating design changes into existing drawings with precision
- Meeting productivity standards and ensuring timely completion of work
- Reviewing and interpreting project specifications, technical details, and construction drawings
- Providing detailed specifications and drawings for architectural works and coordinating with the construction team
- Scheduling and overseeing structural, architectural, and M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) works throughout the project
- Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and M&E staff to resolve issues
- Assisting senior design managers in planning, organizing, and implementing construction projects
- Supervising architectural installations by subcontractors according to project schedules
- Ensuring compliance with local standards and International Building Codes
- Conducting onsite inspections and coordinating construction services
- Preparing, updating, and maintaining drawings and diagrams as per project requirements
- Managing different versions of drawings and maintaining CAD standards
- Keeping accurate records of drawing issues and referenced numbers
- Education:Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Skills:Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
Knowledge of building codes and regulations in Singapore.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience:Prior experience in architectural drafting or a related field is often preferred.
Familiarity with construction processes and project coordination.
- Certifications:Relevant certifications in architectural drafting or CAD software may be advantageous.
- Additional Requirements:Singapore citizenship
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Adaptability to changing project requirements and deadlines.
Additional Remarks:
Two positions are available for building and commercial fit-out projects.
