Job Description:
- Assist the Contracts Manager in contractual and costing matters, ensure that it complies with the relevant legislation.
- Support in the preparation to all contractual matters including tendering, negotiations and procurements procedures.
- Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project specifications.
- Liaise with Clients, Consultant, Sub contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective contract management.
- Participate in contract reviews and provide recommendations to optimize contract terms and conditions.
- Manage and prepare all contract documentation as well as provide support in the drafting of specifications, bills of quantities and other tender requirements.
- Oversee the preparation and monitoring of project cost budget, cash-flow for project, track changes in design/construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to contracts, changes, and approvals.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure timely payment of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to contracts and construction.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in contract management.
- Proven experience in contracts management within the construction industry, particularly in diaphragm wall/foundation projects.
- Strong understanding of contract law and construction contracts.
- Thorough knowledge of Singapore public contracts.
- Ability to liaise/co-ordinate with internal and external legal counsel and experts.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
