Job Description:
- Specialize in underground works, including driven piles, civil engineering, and diaphragm wall construction methods.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports to the main contractor and project manager, detailing site activities, achievements, and challenges.
- Lead and oversee site preparation works, including earthworks, site clearance, and utilities coordination.
- Conduct field testing and site investigation works as required to assess soil conditions and project feasibility.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Monitor and supervise subcontractors and laborers on site, ensuring work is carried out according to plans and schedules.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures on site.
- Assist in the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and other project documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to site.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the project manager to support project objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in site engineering or construction management, specializing in foundation works and diaphragm wall construction.
- Proven track record in managing site activities, including site preparation, field testing, and subcontractor coordination.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and materials used in foundation and underground works.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements.
