Role
Should have good organizational skills and time management. Must be a creative individual,capable of creating dishes and garnishing.
Responsibilities
- Ability to manage daily kitchen operations.
- Purchase and Receive groceries.
- Ensure that all food prepared is of high quality and served in a timely manner.
- Discuss and plan menu for events, keeping in mind the budget and availability of seasonal ingredients.
- Co-ordinate with kitchen staffs and ensure mise en place are done according to SOP.
- Train staff to prepare and cook all the items as per catering order.
- Take stock of ingredients and equipment and place orders accordingly.
- Ensure safety and sanitation standards in kitchen are followed.
- Any other tasks as assigned by Master Chef.
