Job Highlights:
- Thorough review and understanding of all plans and specifications
- Review and comprehension of all contract documents prior to project tendering and inquiries
- Check all Materials Take-Offs (MTOs)
- Revise supplier prices by requesting quotations from subcontractors and vendors
- Estimate budgetary issues
- Evaluate all labor and materials costs for quotations
Responsibilities:
- Submit final quotations to Executive Director (ED) or General Manager (GM) for review and submission
- Meet with subcontractors and major materials vendors to maintain updated rates and price lists for materials and services, in coordination with the Purchasing team
- Coordinate with Operations and production for labor and related costings to ensure competitive estimates and compliance with on-time delivery requirements
- Conduct weekly/monthly meetings with management and department teams
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Marine Industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project); experience in Quantity Surveying (QS) work is essential
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently
