Summary

The Manager, Strategic Planning & Operations plays a key role in strategy formulation, collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders, and leads cross-functional teams in the development of business wide operational strategies. Success in this role demands a strong strategic and analytical orientation coupled with exceptional communication skills as well as a highly developed collaborative nature.


Strategy Development

  • Bring together crucial pieces of information such as financial markets, competitor performance, operational performance, innovations, markets etc, from various internal and external sources to develop short and long-term business plans.
  • Establish, review and track key strategic priorities and translating them into actionable and quantitative plans cascaded to various departments.


Special Projects

  • Develop key processes and ensuring strong adoption across various business units, comprising of Service, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and others.
  • Identify and train strong internal talents to take up leadership roles, or facilitate handing over of key processes developed above to new hires identified to take up the leadership roles.
  • Assume interim project leadership for new initiatives, markets, or cost rationalization projects spanning across functions and teams globally.


Investor Relations

  • Given that we are currently running a lean team, the Operations organization is also involved in FP&A as well as investor-relations work.
  • The Manager in Strategic Operations works closely with the Finance team, run internal and Board cadence for Financial Planning & Analyses.
  • Be an integral part of the Company's fundraising processes, formulating pitch desks, attending to investor due diligence questions as well as executing fundraising close.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in strategic planning, operations management, or a related role.
  • Proven experience in leading strategic initiatives and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
