Data Analytics and Governance
Summary
· The team primarily handles client outreach and document review within the AML KYC space.
· Two horizontal teams: one focused on governance and another on planning analytics and governance.
· Current analytics and reporting are done by one primary person in Singapore, creating time zone challenges.
Responsibilities:
· Role involves understanding data, creating executive reports, automating processes, and maintaining standard reporting.
· Creation and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs within AML processes.
· Data includes client attributes, process stages, risk ratings, and other metrics
· Weekly, Monthly, and ad hoc reporting across teams
· Interfacing with regional leaders to determine scope and structure for reports, dashboards, and metrics
· Interface frequently with Singapore, London, and US teams
Initial client responsibilities:
· Cross-train with team on various business controls functions to support lines of business.
· Transition knowledge base and reporting capabilities to provide global coverage that includes:
o Re-baseline population
o Capacity planning / headcount
o Revenue / CV dashboards
· BAU and Ad-hoc reporting for Restrictions / Closures / Extensions
o Working with regional leaders to scope and build reports for restrictions and closures globally.
o Creating new views using Tableau and Excel to provide accurate, ongoing reports for the organization
o Modify dashboards as requested
· Transition and take over M&I defect reporting
o Accurate identification, tracking, updating, and reporting of defects
o Manage restrictions and closures related to M&I processes, ensuring compliance and timely communication with stakeholders.
o Collaborate with regional leads to address and resolve M&I issues, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
· Refresh population re-baseline – currently looking at full population against new standards to scope and plan from 2024 – 2028. Creating reports to be presented to executive leadership teams.
· Ongoing process improvements
· Tools used: Excel, SharePoint, Tableau, Client reporting and workflow tools.
