RESPONSIBILITIES
- Champion and drive the continuous improvement exercise of reviewing, streamlining and digitalising HR processes, for a more efficient and effective delivery of HR Administration services.
- Work closely with HRBP and COE teams to review/design/propose HR administration policy changes and initiatives. Revise internal procedures when policy guidelines change, or as required for legal or other external compliance reasons.
- Lead and coach the HR Administration team, in ensuring smooth operations from onboarding, HRMS transactions and offboarding, as well as handling employee inquiries and issues.
- Oversee and monitor the overall data management for all HRMS transactions to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Review HR processes with internal HR units to ensure work processes are aligned with HR policies/programmes and effectively carried out to achieve their objectives, e.g., ensuring that the employee onboarding programme is achieving the expected outcome, new hires are able to be accustomed to the new environment after x months.
- Collaborate closely with HR Technology team to review/optimize work processes via technology.
- Act as overall coordinator for HR annual budget preparation and collation by working closely with other HR Unit/Functional Heads /Leads on their respective budgets.
- Accountable for managing the vendor procurement process, providing logistical support for HR events and ensuring HR Administration team collaborates with internal HR units.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of broad HR experience, with at least 3 years in HR administration or HR operations roles, including leadership or supervisory experience. Prior experience in an educational setting or related industry is preferred.
- Demonstrates high level of empathy and advanced listening skills when communicating, influencing and problem-solving people matters.
- Familiarity with general HR policies and practices, local Employment Act, Immigration rules, etc.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop team members.
- Experienced in process workflow, transactions and data changes using SAP SuccessFactors modules or any other third-party HR solutions.
- Ability to promote and implement changes to current HR practices and processes.
- Attention to detail and ability to independently handle multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities in high-pressure situations.
