Responsibilities:
The candidate must possess a variety of competencies including strong attention-to-detail, solid communication skills and meticulous follow-through.
The candidate should be comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced and demanding environment.
This position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Expertise with strong mechanical background, preferably in piping & welding.
- Able to understand Engineering drawings and perform basic engineering calculations, design, etc.
- Site preparation and co-ordination, preparation of submission documents.
- Coordinate, liaise and manage various project stakeholders including customers, consultants, sub- contractors, vendors, etc. on site to ensure project requirements are met.
- Assist the Project Manager in managing and monitoring the project progress.
- Ensure that the project progress meets contractual requirements and timely delivery of committed work-scope within agreed schedule.
- Support, review and supervise all project related documentations.
- Liaise and work closely with Clients, Vendors, Engineering Team to ensure required progress and effective delivery of contractual commitments.
- Prepare progress reports and scheduling reports to Project Manager.
- Any other duties to be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 6 years' working experience in construction installation works
- Good communication skills and able to interact with all levels of staff
- Familiar with MS Office applications
- Candidate possess Core Trade certification will be an added advantage
