Responsibilities:
The candidate must possess a variety of competencies including strong attention-to-detail, communication skills, meticulous follow-through, an innovative and professional approach to work, able to work independently and good team player, good in numbers and well-organized.
The candidate should be comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced and demanding environment.
This position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Evaluate and select relevant design input
- Establish BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for labour, materials and equipment for tendering
- Liaison with sub-contractors and suppliers for quotations
- Preparation of tender bid submission with specific deadlines to meet
- Preparation of tender clarification replies including all relevant submittal requirements
- Established project schedule; applicable operational procedures & works instructions / method statements
- Assist Tender & Design Manager in administration of contract and variation claims
- Perform as-installed quantity measurements, where applicable
- Manage material orders, order documentation and project accounts, where applicable
- Other Engineer duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Experience at least 3 to 5 years relevant experience quantity take-off or other QS activities
- MS Office applications
- MS Project Planning & Scheduling
- Candidate possess LEW license will be an added advantage
