Senior Business Systems Analyst (Salesforce CPQ)

Responsibilities

  • Understand and remain up to date, provide guidance, policies and recommendations on industry trends and evolving standards for Go-to-Market/Revenue Operations, business process, especially best practices for tools like Salesforce
  • Administer, set up, configure, and troubleshoot issues in Go-to-Market/Revenue Operations tools like Salesforce
  • Create and maintain automations within Go-to-Market/Revenue Operations tools (e.g. Salesforce apex, custom script, flows) and across systems through Workato recipes
  • Execute project lifecycle – which includes development, testing, review, deployment – to implement feature configurations and customizations of Go-to-Market/Revenue Operations tools and automations to meet evolving business and operational needs.
  • Maintain security and integrity of the company’s Go-to-Market/Revenue Operations tools instances through the implementation of proper governance and permissions
  • Ensure optimal performance in Go-to-Market/Revenue Operations tools through the implementation of scalable solutions, in line with industry best practices
  • Be the SME (subject matter expert) for Go-to-Market/Revenue Operations tools and guide users in executing operations in these tools – e.g. reassigning records, creating new records
  • Create business and technical documentation – for customizations, workflows, and business processes – and keep all documentation up to date
  • Monitor new release features in Go-to-Market/Revenue Operations tools and review for potential impact to existing configuration, as well as potential benefits for the business

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of experience working with Go-to-Market/Revenue Operations tools like Salesforce
  • Experience with implementing or configuring CPQ
  • Experience with writing, troubleshooting Apex code and custom script
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred
  • 5+ years of experience with supporting Go-to-Market departments (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Partner Channel)
  • Experience in agile development preferred
  • Experience of automating business processes including lead to deal closing process, campaign management, partner deal registration, etc
  • Effective technical troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Familiarity with and experience with automations using AI is a plus
