Job Description
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and manage budgets, including forecasting revenue and expenses.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Manage the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation.
Cost Management:
- Monitor and control operational costs, including transportation, warehousing, and other logistics-related expenses.
Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
Taxation:
- Manage tax filings, including VAT/GST, corporate income tax, and other relevant taxes.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are often preferred.
- 4 years of full set accounting experience, ideally within the manufacturing, engineering, construction, logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAGE) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
