We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team at our furniture company. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our organization and contributing to its growth. Your responsibilities will include:
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
- Prepare regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct variance analysis to track budget versus actual performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor key financial metrics and provide management with actionable insights.
Accounts Receivables:
- Review daily transactions.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
- Send reminders for pending payments.
- Update the status of received payments in the financial system.
- Reconcile accounts receivable weekly.
- Prepare footfall and debtor aging reports.
Accounts Payable:
- Manage incoming invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Verify invoice details with purchase orders and delivery receipts.
- Schedule payments in alignment with cash flow projections.
- Upload payment details to the financial system.
- Reconcile accounts payable with internal financial records weekly.
- Manage scheduled payments with procurement for cash flow management.
- Review amended orders for financial impact.
- Prepare accounts payable aging reports monthly.
Data Analysis and Tools:
- Utilize financial software(Xero) and Excel to analyze data efficiently.
- Develop financial models and scenarios to support decision-making.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by management.
Skillsets Needed
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Xero, Shopify, or similar financial software. Strong MS Excel skills.
Ability to find and integrate apps that streamline and enhance financial processes.
Knowledge of app integration and connect different financial platforms.
