Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the Manager, you will have a good understanding of the latest brand communication trends and storytelling. You will be responsible for developing and executing communication plans for the Society’s direct services, managing our communication assets and collaterals, developing content to promote the Society’s brand stories and managing media relations. You will also focus on SCS communications channels and publications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the broader Corporate Affairs team to devise and execute communication plans to support programmes, campaigns and events for SCS direct services.
- Manage brand-refreshed projects which include collaterals, publications, digital communications platforms and rolling out these initiatives to new SCS centres.
- Maintain positive relationships with the media by handling and responding to media queries in a timely manner.
- Draft, research and edit content materials to populate SCS story bank, collaterals development and external-facing communication channels including website, social media and SCS publications.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in communications or relevant field
- Exposure to marketing is an added advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of current trends in the media landscape
- Experienced in developing content and managing digital & social media channels
- Experienced in managing influencers’ engagement,
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in working in a multi-stakeholder environment
