Our dynamic consulting firm is seeking a talented individual to join us as a Data Protection Engagement Lead. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in guiding our clients through the complexities of data protection, offering strategic advice and implementing robust frameworks to mitigate risks.



Key Responsibilities:


As a Data Protection Engagement Lead, you will lead engagements with clients from diverse industries, overseeing the development and implementation of data protection strategies tailored to their unique needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Consultative Leadership: Providing expert guidance on data protection regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and others relevant to our clients' operations.
  • Compliance Management: Assessing current data protection practices, identifying gaps, and designing comprehensive compliance programs.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conducting thorough risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies to enhance data security.
  • Training and Awareness: Educating client teams on best practices for data handling and fostering a culture of compliance within organizations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Building strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their challenges, and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.



Qualifications:

  • Experience: Demonstrable experience in data protection, privacy compliance, or related fields, preferably within a consulting environment.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of global data protection regulations and standards.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, IT, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
