Responsibilities
- Oversee the lifecycle of contracts related to natural resources like LNG, derivative transactions under ISDA, and Time Charter Party agreements for LNG Ships.
- This involves drafting, reviewing, and executing various documents such as Confidentiality Agreements, Master Agreements, and Credit Support Documents.
- Maintain and update the company’s Master Agreement to reflect global LNG trends, manage the contract database, and analyze risks associated with short-term transactions.
- Proposing risk mitigation strategies, coordinating legal work with external firms, and handling ad-hoc assignments as needed.
Requirements
- Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent
- At least 2-3 years of experience in contract management within commodities trading, particularly in LNG, oil, or gas sectors.
- Strong skills in drafting, amending, and negotiating legal contracts are essential, alongside robust legal analytical abilities.
- Effective communication in cross-functional teams and the capability to identify and escalate issues promptly are crucial.
- Integrity, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently underpin success in this role.
