Core responsibilities:
- Lead and manage FPSO Classification activities, Flag and statutory requirement stemming from Class and Flag State from project execution, transportations, OHUC until handing over to Operations Department.
- Lead and manage acquisitions of required Class and Flag approvals, Certificates and Statements to deliver regulatory-compliant FPSO.
General Responsibilities:
- Be point of contact with project disciplines, Class and Flag state representatives and surveyors while executing Regulatory Compliance Matrix (Class & Flag).
- Reports functionally to Project Regulatory Compliance Manager and provide coverage during absence.
- Coordinate with Regulatory Compliance Specialist(s) in the management of the local regulatory compliance and permitting requirement.
- Assist Company Regulatory Compliance Manager.
- Report quality related problems and HSSE hazards or deficits within their area to the QHSSE department
- Promote and take part in the QHSSE continuous improvement process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Maritime/ Engineering
- Min 2 years direct experience with Class
- Experience with FPSO Classification process and requirement; preferably completed 1 FPSO project through to sail away
- Willing to take on long-term assignment in shipyard (China, Dubai, Singapore)
- Experience with conversion and redeployment projects
- Experience with Class and Statutory certification – international codes and standards and independent verification
