Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies and procedures.
- Perform sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, cancellation report, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather purchasing requirements and create purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
- Utilize procurement software and systems to track inventory, generate reports, and analyze data.
- Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements in purchasing and inventory management.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Provide support in vendor management and performance evaluations.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent
- At least 3 – 5 years of experience in procurement and/or purchasing, preferably with inventory control experience.
