Key Responsibilities:
Inventory and Costing
- In charge of the monthly closing of inventory and costing using SAP system on a timely basis with minimum supervision.
- Prepare and review the stock provision with users and raise the journals to adjust it.
- Responsible for the monthly and yearly stocktaking plan and liaising with users and external auditors to ensure that the stocktaking is properly planned and executed.
- Prepare and review the stock take report to explain for any discrepancy in the stock count and areas noted for improvement. Also ensure that all the relevant supporting documents are properly filed for audit purposes.
- Prepare variance analysis on trends, highlighting irregularities, overspending compared to material forecast.
- Prepare monthly rolling forecast and yearly budget for material spending.
- To work closely with users to fix the bill of material and routing issues on a timely basis.
- In charge of the yearly standard material and activity rate update in SAP system.
- In charge of the half yearly update on the financial cost models for pricing purposes.
- To develop standard operating procedure for standard cost and inventory management.
- Any other ad hoc assignment as designated by supervisor.
Our ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Recognized Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy with at least 1 years of relevant working experience in a Big 4 audit firms or/and MNC environment.
- Highly analytical, meticulous and experienced in report writing.
- Ability to work independently and communicate with all levels and across functions.
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred; knowledge of Lucanet will be an advantage.
- Proficient in both English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates).
- Good working knowledge with MS Excel and Powerpoint, SAP, business intelligence software
- Strong analytical problem solving skills and high attention to details and accuracy
- Ability to meet the tight deadlines.
- Experience in working with colleagues from overseas/foreign office.
