Purpose:
- To identify, implement and execute action plans which are aimed at achieving the strategic objectives of the Group.
- To identify and engage new customers in green fields.
- To gain entry to new markets.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identify potential and new greenfield opportunities that supports the company's future Strategic Profile.
- Assist in conducting and formulating comprehensive studies on business solutions for implementation.
- Assist in pilot testing of business solutions with customers, potential partners, suppliers and internal business units and personnel.
- Identify strategic leveraging opportunities to expand geographic footprints, and deepen business and relationships with target customers, and facilitate the realisation of identified potential.
- Sell new solutions and cut deals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or closely related field
- At least 5 years in business development position
- Good analytical skill, capable of doing in-depth analysis, providing insights to market and customer trends, market needs and possible 'winning' solutions to address identified opportunities and gaps.
- Self-driven, persistent, highly motivated and passionate about serving customers by going the extra miles.
- Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on mentality to seek out new contacts and build relationships and convert them into customers.
- Willing to work under fast paced and challenging environment
- Able to travel in the region with short notice.
