Job Description
Marketing Support:
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and print.
- Create engaging content for social media platforms, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain and update the organization’s website and social media profiles.
2. Event Planning and Coordination:
- Support the planning and execution of on-site and virtual events, including workshops, seminars, and networking sessions.
- Coordinate event logistics, such as venue booking, catering, AV equipment, and attendee registration.
- Assist with event promotion and outreach to ensure maximum participation and engagement.
- Manage event-related communications, including invitations, confirmations, and follow-up surveys.
3. Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate records of marketing and event activities, including budgets, schedules, and reports.
- Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and banners.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
- Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise.
4. Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on the success of marketing campaigns and events, using metrics such as attendance, engagement, and return on investment.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Provide regular updates to the Marketing and Events Manager on the progress of marketing and event activities.
5. Community Engagement:
- Engage with the startup community and other stakeholders to build relationships and promote THE HANGAR’s programs and services.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to represent THE HANGAR and identify potential partnerships.
- Gather feedback from event attendees and community members to improve future events and initiatives.
This is an hourly-rated position.
Qualifications
- Minimum Polytechnic Diploma in Mass communications/other related sector
- Proven experience in marketing, event planning, or a related role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools (e.g., social media platforms, email marketing software).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- May require occasional evening or weekend work to support events and other activities.
