Sales Director (Digital Government Transformation)

Onsite: Toa Payoh, 5 days work from office

Experience: 7 to 10 years’ experience on paper, stable profile

Desired skills: someone that has relationships and connections with government agencies

Notice: Immediate to 2 months’



Interview Process: Virtual or physical depending on management's schedule

The Sales Director is responsible for leading the team to drive sales, including account penetration, prospect qualification, supervision of sales activity, sales process planning, and closing of sales opportunities in the industry and/or sector that he/she is in. He/She is expected to build deep and trusted business relationships with the client (Singapore government agencies and Govtech) to seed and grow future opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:

· Work with the pre-sales team and product team to propose a cost-effective and competitive solution for the customers based on our internal products.

· Cultivate close and responsive business relationships with clients, including understanding the problems the clients face, and working with internal teams to address the problems. Also, to prospect new projects with customers.

· Able to engage customers at C-level.

· Lead and manage the sales team.

· Manage the team to achieve the sales target set.

· Manage risk and impact of change requests and assist with service request of variation order negotiation.

· Manage project tenders and vendor contracts.

· Will have overseas travel opportunities

· Manage current sales team of 5 members .

Requirements:

· Degree in Computer Science, Sales, Marketing or a related discipline.


· Minimum 10 years or more experience in IT industry with proven track record as a Sales Director/Head of Sales in leadership positions.

· Process broad business acumen and deep industry knowledge, and to use this knowledge to develop/enhance client relationships.

· Proven track record in assuming overall responsibility and managing multi-million dollars projects in key client industry, connections and networking with government stakeholders and agencies.

· Possess vast exposure and wealth of experience within vendor and government environment, coupled with a driven and self-motivated personality.

· Good communication skills, both written and oral.

· Understand and ability to apply social style techniques to manage stakeholders and to manage sales team.

· Client focused with strong organizational, customer
