Job Responsibilities
- Calculate and process salaries for preschool staff and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Ensure compliance and clculate and remit CPF contributions and Foreign Worker Levy (FWL) if applicable.
- Handle maternity leave, childcare leave, and other statutory leave entitlements specific to preschool employees.
- Track and manage leave entitlements and balances, including annual leave, medical leave, and childcare leave.
- Manage employee benefits such as medical insurance, annual leave, and other entitlements.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues promptly.
- Provide support to preschool staff regarding payroll-related inquiries.
- Compute and deduct the appropriate amount of income tax (withholding tax) from employees’ salaries. Ensure timely submission of tax-related documents such as IR8A forms to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years experience in payroll processing, preferably within the education or preschool sector in Singapore.
- Familiarity with local payroll software and systems.
