Responsibilities:
- Prepare of Work Orders and execute smooth production planning, scheduling and timely fulfilment of work orders.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust them as needed to meet customers' demand.
- Implement process improvement plan and meet or exceed operations objectives set up by company.
- Analyze production cycle time and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and mantain safe work procedure (SWP) for production processes and regular maintenance processes.
- Streamline workflow and eliminate waste.
- Managing and lead small work groups.
- Evaluate employees' performance, provide feedback and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase requisition for production supplies and materials needed for production.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Ensure 5S and perform routine machine maintenance.
Requirements:
- Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC / GEO 'O' Level or equivalent, Diploma holder is preferred
- Minimum 2 - 3 year of manufacturing supervision experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations
- Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Possess good communication skills and able to work with all levels in the organization
- Strong hands on and maintenance background, possess problem solving and strong leadership skills
- Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new skills.
