about the job
This is a full sets role. You will manage the complete accounts closing process at the subsidiary level, including the preparation of monthly management reports and analysis. Oversee the review of expense documents, input vouchers, and prepare statements to ensure timely and accurate expense reviews. Handle approval processes for Japan subsidiaries, including employee reimbursements. Prepare and file tax returns and corporate taxes, and coordinate with external auditors, secretaries, and consultants for interim and annual audits. Ensure effective internal controls for financial reporting, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and implement the change management process.
skills and experience required
You should ideally be degree qualified in accounting or an equivalent. You can speak and write Japanese proficiently - either native or JLPT N1 or N2. Office is at Suntec City, 100% work in office.
