Job Description
Research officer plays the following tasks under the supervision of senior researchers/Research Director:
1. [Technology development] Novel technology development for molecular and immunological assays
2. [Integration] Integration to the prototype medical device
3. [Protein] In-house enzyme purifications
4. [IP application] IP search and documentation
5. [Record] Record E-Lab Notebook regularly
6. [Administrative works] Such as ordering and payment with SAP system.
Working hours: 8:45-17:30 (Mon-Fri)
Work Location: Buona Vista
Depending on the responsibilities, those who wish may be seconded to the R&D team in Japan for a short period (up to 3 months) for training purpose.
Requirements:
· Able to work on administrative works, such as ordering and payment with SAP system.
· Bachelor's Degree / Diploma holders in Microbiology, Molecular or Cell Biology, Immunology, or other suitable life science discipline.
· Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
· Self-motivated and have enthusiasm for R&D work.
· Experience in the molecular development with either clinical or environmental samples. Proficient in the primers and probes design.
· [Bioinformatics] Experience in Python script-based bioinformatics would be a bonus point.
· [Protein] Experiences in E. coli or insect cells protein expression system. Familiar with enzyme purification.
· Excellent communication skills in English (Written and verbal)
