- Create a Business Continuity Plan, identifying scope of the plan, key business areas, critical functions, dependencies between various business areas and functions.
- Good experience in defining and implementing BCP/DR for Business Functions
- Hands-on experience in implementing / testing disaster recovery strategies and plans for applications
- Good experience in project management, experience in payments, swift and related projects will be good.
- Excellent good Communication skills
- Should have carried out DR plan and implementation assessments
- Determining acceptable downtime for each critical function.
- Creating & Maintaining full copy of mission critical data outside production region
- Creating plans to maintain operations.
- Creating consistent plans and accessible even in the event of a major disaster.
- Testing BC/DR plan in a realistic way to ensure it actually works
- Review and Improve Business Continuity Plan
- Ensuring production changes are properly reflected in the BC/DR plan
- Training the team on the BC/DR plan
- Identifying areas of automation and executing as a part of BCP.
- Understanding Risk mitigation
- Regulatory compliance / cost of downtime
- Forecasting unexpected events
- Ensuring best practises being followed
- Excellent understanding on Infrastructure disruptions, Network Latency and band width constraints including project management component
- Very good in adequate planning and testing considering IT complexity
- Very good understanding on architecture
- Prioritizing tier applications, establishing SLA with respect to line of business
