As a Driver, need to ensure safe and efficient delivery of materials, supplies, and personnel
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate organization vehicles, including vans or trucks, to transport personnel, materials, and supplies for fundraising activities.
- Ensure compliance with traffic regulations and safe driving practices at all times.
- Load and unload items carefully and maintain accurate records of collected donations.
- Perform regular inspections of organization vehicles, checking for any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Report and address maintenance or repair needs promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and organizational policies while operating vehicles.
- Follow proper procedures for securing loads and ensure passenger safety during transportation.
- Maintain effective communication with the Fundraising Department team to coordinate transportation needs, schedules, and any changes or updates.
- Report any incidents or delays promptly.
- Represent the organization in a professional and courteous manner while interacting with externals during pickups or deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service and convey gratitude for their contributions.
- Other related duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or Diploma in any discipline.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Required to work outside normal working hours, including evenings and weekends throughout the year at various events.
- To be present occasionally alone in charge or in assistance at out-of-hours functions.
- Must be able to work in a team.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
- Be prepared to perform other duties as assigned
