COMPANY
Busways Pte Ltd formally known as Busways Engineering Services Pte Ltd are officially registered on May 2006 as a Mechanical and Electrical Engineering contractor with the 5 principal activities as follows:
- Supply and Installation of Electrical 22kV, LV and MV Busducts, Primary Power Distribution Network Equipment and Cabling Infrastructures.
- Design, Customisation, Fabrication & Installation of Cable Containment System
- Design, Customisation, Fabrication & Installation of Metal Works
- Design & Installation of Electric Vehicle Charging System
- Supply & Installation of High Voltage Switchgear
CRITERIONS
1) Financial Management:
- Develop and manage financial systems and policies.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance.
2) Bank and Trade Financing:
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Negotiate and secure trade financing arrangements.
- Optimize cash flow and minimize financial risks.
3) Government Grants and Compliance:
- Administer applications for government grants and incentives.
- Ensure compliance with grant regulations and reporting requirements.
- Liaise with relevant government agencies as necessary.
4) Payroll and Manpower Regulations:
- Oversee payroll processes and compliance.
- Stay updated on manpower regulations and requirements.
- Advise on HR-related financial matters.
5) Costing and Financial Standards:
- Analyze product costing and profitability.
- Implement and adhere to accounting standards such as FRS 115 and FRS 116.
- Conduct periodic financial audits and assessments.
6) Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve financial goals.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- At least 5 years’ proven experience as a Financial Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar role in the M&E industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, payroll systems, and government grant processes.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. MYOB)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the executive presence to work with senior management, investors and external stakeholders.
