Job Description
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the entire organization ( lines of business and brands within F&B) in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business objectives across various platforms.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target markets and customer needs.
- Conduct Swot analysis to identify untapped opportunities and increase profitability
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns, including digital, social media and email marketing, and content creation to drive brand awareness and customer engagement
- Work with external vendors to extend our scope of services. Analyse and prepare data reports and provide recommendations on performance and insights
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, events, etc.).
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using relevant KPIs and metrics.
- Coordinate media tastings, press activities, and facilitate media enquiries and interview requests
- Strengthen relationships with local and regional media, develop pitch angles and track press coverage
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and identity across all marketing materials and channels.
- Oversee the production of promotional materials and marketing content.
- Manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising.
- Optimize online presence and user experience on the company’s website and other digital platforms.
- Provide administrative support, including maintaining databases, managing project timelines and coordinating logistics for marketing & PR activities
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in marketing and PR activities
- Develop and manage the marketing budget.
- Allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI on marketing investments.
Requirements
- Minimum diploma or degree in PR, Marketing, Mass Communications, Journalism or equivalent professional certification
- Minimum 3 years working experience, with at least 2 years in a PR or integrated marketing agency. Those with more years of experience may be considered for a marketing and public relations manager role.
- Experience in F&B, consumer or lifestyle PR with proven campaign track record
- Established network of media contacts and relationships with influencers/key opinion leaders with track record of successful pitches and campaigns
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, social media management and content management systems.
- Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
