Intern - Adventure Centre
The intern will gain insights into behind-the-scenes of adventure-based programmes and their application for youth engagement and intervention. The intern will receive entry-level outdoor certification (Sports Climbing Level 1) and a letter of reference upon successful completion of the internship!
Learning Points:
- Confidence in facilitation and leading programs for children and youths.
- Intentional design for change intervention programs.
- Understand the backend work needed to ensure the smooth running of daily operations and programmes.
Requirements:
- Have a passion for active sports or outdoor adventure and working with at-risk youths.
- Minimum duration of 3 months with working hours from 9am to 6pm.
- Able to perform physical tasks such as climbing, freediving and hiking.
- Recreational outdoor certifications like SNCS Level 1, Kayaking 1 Star, etc. is advantageous.
