Job Responsibilities
- Handling of all ship operations related matter to ensure optimal voyage performance and maximizing profitability for the respective voyages;
- Coordinating with various parties like ship master, ship broker, bunker trader, port agents on day-to-day operations to ensure all voyages run smoothly;
- Coordinating with company accounts and commercial departments for receivable account update, consolidation of final voyage account, payment related matter and B/L collection;
- Coordinating with company ship management for stowage, bunker and route planning including other technical issues;
- Preparing laytime calculation, negotiation of laytime including issuance of freight invoice, hire invoice and settlement of final voyage account with ship owner and voyage charterer;
- Any other duties as per required from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree holder, maritime-related;
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience;
- Experience in operating panamax and supramax ship size;
- Good time management and communication;
- Able to work in team working environments;
- Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking internal and external personnel.
