As a Fund Operations Admin, you will play a pivotal role in our financial services team. Your responsibilities include trailer fee computation, contract interpretation, and accurate records. You’ll collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth fund management operations. Additionally, your expertise in dealing with distributors, fund administrators, and transfer agents will contribute to our success.
Responsibilities:
- Calculate trailer fees based on specified formulas and translate contractual agreements into working files for fee computation.
- Check and reconcile past fees with counterparties, distributors, and introducers, correcting fee formulas to avoid ambiguities.
- Establish systems for efficient fee computation and payment monitoring.
- Maintain a comprehensive database and supporting documents related to fee computation.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with various fees charged by funds, including Sales Charge, Distribution Fee, and Management Fee.
- Ability to interpret prospectus/fund documents regarding associated fees and expenses, including total expense ratio caps.
- Proficiency in data tools to streamline processes.
- Experience dealing with Fund Administrators, Transfer Agents, and Distributors.
- Understanding of different fund classes and fund management operations, including subscriptions, redemptions, and NAV computation.
- Strong Excel skills and excellent documentation practices.
- Effective communication skills.
