Title: Procurement & Process Excellence Manager

The company has a significant presence in Singapore and the rest of Asia in terms of its reputable market position in developing high quality manufacturing and customized biopharma solutions, and takes pride in ensuring optimized end-to-end supply chain and procurement excellence to achieve maximized customer satisfaction.
They are looking to hire a Procurement & Process Excellence Manager, a Subject Matter Expert who is the critical point of contact in terms of providing Design to Value advice to ensure a smooth flow of end to end procurement, purchasing and sourcing strategies for manufacturing sites based in Singapore, optimally supporting the business onsite to maximize business profitability.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Global Head of Procurement , this position will be focusing on the below:
- Partner actively with Manufacturing, Facilities Management and Product Transfer teams to strategize and derive competitive winning proposals to secure cost-competitive contracts for both direct and indirect spend
- Develop efficient regional Sourcing methodologies and Procurement Governance checklists to optimally support the success of new product development process
- Lead and improve Indirect Category strategies aligned with up-to-date procurement regulations and market trends, with the key objective to make happen effective Alternate Sourcing work flow where required
- Streamline regional/ global supplier base by means of deep dive analysis and possible consolidation, with the key objective to drive smooth ERP system implementation
- Enable improvements in strategic supplier contracts negotiations
Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Procurement/Purchasing/Strategic Sourcing Management experience in a API/Biologics/GMP Healthcare Manufacturing environment
- Proven track record in acquired solution oriented mind set to deal with customized clean room manufacturing activities for multiple sites in Singapore and beyond
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to relay and/or drive process improvements across a global organization to important stakeholders
- Good understanding of SAP HANA and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred
