A leader in the maritime industry is currently seeking a candidate to join them as a Contract Accounts Associate (1 Year).
Job Responsibilities:
- Checking of suppliers’ invoices/credit notes details
- Prepare and raise journals as needed
- Reconcile Cash to Master against balance in general ledger
- Check and verify statement of account
- Prepare remittances for crew home allotment
- Reconcile account and raise necessary adjustment journals as needed
- Monitor all Advance Accounts; follow up to obtain Invoices/AP Input
- Compile and prepare Monthly Accounting Reports and Quarterly reports to Shipowners
- Prepare Annual Fund Adjustment (AD) Reports
- Ensure that funds are requested and received on a timely basis
- Prepare quarterly or year-end insurance premium accruals journal, prepayment journal and reversal journal
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/ LCCI in accounting
- Training is provided!
