Partner Account Manager, APJC

What You'll Do

We are looking for an experienced Partner Account Manager to take ownership for the growth and management of one of Cisco’s most strategic regional partners across APJC. This role requires management of all aspects of the partnership, including overall responsibility for the Partner’s Cisco product and services business, driving innovation through multiple go to market offerings including Managed services, building partner competency and capability, and ensuring mindshare within both Partner and Cisco’s stakeholders.

This role requires a collaborative nature to work cross-functionally within both Cisco and the Partner to drive coordinated Sales and Marketing efforts. You will possess a strong sales background and channel management experience, be comfortable working with multiple priorities within a globally matrixed environment and can execute utilizing a virtual team.

Responsibilities of the role include the following:

  • Thought leadership to drive Partner differentiation and profitability
  • Joint business planning to define goals and capture new market opportunities
  • Build strong country engagement to grow customer share
  • Accelerate the adoption of key Cisco platform technologies
  • Scale market relevant Cisco solutions to increase overall revenue
  • Liaise with Global Cisco Partner team leaders to ensure regional alignment

Success metrics will include:

  • Revenue growth and stakeholder engagement
  • Partner’s competency in selling Cisco’s portfolio and drive Cisco preference
  • Successful adoption of software and subscription models
  • Lifecycle Services and Adoption Practice maturity
  • Partner satisfaction and loyalty

Who You'll Work With

In APJC Partner Routes to Market Sales Team, we are responsible for driving Cisco’s partner strategy and growing the Partner ecosystem across the APJC region. You will report to the Strategic Partner Leader, APJC and work with a team of dedicated and passionate professionals who are committed to delivering outstanding customer outcomes and partner experiences. You will also interact with various functions including sales, engineering, marketing, operations, finance and legal through the many aspects of your role.

Who You Are

You are a self-motivated and outcome-focused sales and business development professional with a strong orientation to performance. You have a proven record of developing and growing partnerships through effective planning and execution, preferably in highly matrixed environments. You are a strong collaborator with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills allowing you to establish trust at all levels within the Partner and Cisco. You are passionate about technology and innovation and possess knowledge of Cisco’s portfolio and associated value proposition.
